Set up transactional emails on your own SMTP provider
For emails to work correctly, you need to have a transactional email provider (also called SMTP provider) set up. We recommend you take advantage of our Transactional Emails addon where we configure SendGrid and verification records for you.
However, if you would like to use your own provider, follow the instructions below.
Configuring an SMTP provider on your store
Install and activate the WP Mail SMTP plugin to manage transactional emails. It supports both Mailgun and SendGrid. Use the Email Test tab to make sure the settings are correctly configured.
Then, go to Addons on WooCart and disable SendGrid addon. The store will restart.
If you haven't chosen yet, the two transactional email providers we recommend are:
Configure DKIM and SPF records
Don't forget to add DKIM and SPF records to DNS, Settings > Domain > View DNS. If you do not know what those are, we highly recommend you stick with WooCart's Shared and Personalized Transactional Emails. Otherwise, your email deliverability will suffer.
